This workshop introduces you to the craft of embroidery within a hoop format. You will begin by selecting or transferring a simple design, learning how to position it effectively within the circular frame. A range of beginner-friendly stitches including backstitch, satin stitch, and seed stitch will be demonstrated. You will be guided on how to combine them to create texture and visual interest. The session places strong emphasis on composition, helping you to balance elements within the hoop to achieve a cohesive finished piece. Colour selection and thread variation will also be explored. This class is ideal for beginners and offers a relaxing, structured introduction to hand embroidery. All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit This is an early morning workshop which will finish as the show opens for the day.
