035-Embroidered Paper Collage

Welcome to this paper collage embroidery workshop, where we'll explore the exciting space between paper, stitch, and mark-making. This workshop is about loosening up, experimenting, and discovering how simple materials can be transformed through layering, texture, and thread. We'll begin by creating small paper collages using paper, colour, and mark-making, thinking about balance, contrast, and rhythm. These collages will then become the foundation for embroidery, as we stitch directly into the paper with threads and yarns. This workshop is suitable for all levels and is aimed at those who enjoy working experimentally. There are no fixed outcomes here; the focus is on play and developing confidence in your own visual language. All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit
